HVE3 certified

The Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) certification, created by the French Ministry of Agriculture, encourages farms and vineyards to promote biodiversity, reduce pesticide use, and improve water and fertilizer management. It consists of three levels, with the third being the highest. Christine’s wines, from our third collection, have this HVE 3 certification.

Christine was born in Vic-Fezensac, Gers, and grew up in the heart of Gascony. Her father was a winegrower and Christine has many childhood memories of the fun of the grape harvest and the hours spent around the grape press. “When I was 5, I tasted the grape juice coming out of the press in the family vineyard – it was a delight! “Christine studied oenology in Toulouse and then worked for ten years in the wine trade for major wine companies in France and abroad: in Gascony, Champagne, Chile, Argentina and Spain. In 2007, she had the opportunity to join Plaimont, one of the largest cooperative wineries in France, as Wine Product and R&D Manager. As an oenologist for the best wines of Plaimont, Christine has proven her expertise in blends: for her, blends must necessarily reflect the typicity of the terroirs of the appellation.
